How Cruise collects, uses and protects your personal information.

1. Who we are
Cruise LTD is the controller responsible for your personal information. Our contact address is International Way, Sunbury Upon Thames, TW16 7HR, United Kingdom. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@cruiseapp.org.
2. Who may use Cruise
Cruise is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
3. Information we collect

Account information, including your name, email address, authentication identifiers and account creation date.
•
Profile information you choose to provide, including your profile photograph and visibility preference.
•
Journey activity, including dreaming, planning and completed experiences, XP, badges, goals, lists and recap information.
•
Private memory information you choose to save, including experience dates, photographs, reactions, companion categories and personal notes.
•
Travel referral activity, including the experience, selected partner, referral status and whether you tell Cruise that an external booking was completed.
•
Subscription information, including product, entitlement, purchase state and renewal or expiry status. We do not receive your complete payment-card details.
•
Preferences, support messages and notification settings.
•
Technical and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot Cruise, such as device type, app version, IP address, timestamps and error information.
4. How we use information

To create and secure your account and provide the Cruise service.

To save your journeys and private memories, calculate qualifying XP and goals, and personalise your experience.
•
To provide and verify Free or Premium access and restore purchases.
•
To respond to support, privacy and account-deletion requests.
•
To maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Cruise, consent where requested, and compliance with law.
5. Service providers and international processing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for third-party advertising. We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including Supabase for authentication, database and storage; RevenueCat for subscription entitlements; Apple and Google for app distribution and payments; and Expo/EAS for app building and delivery. These providers may process information outside your country under their own safeguards and legal obligations.
6. Analytics and advertising
Cruise does not currently display third-party advertising. We may introduce privacy-conscious analytics to understand app performance and feature usage. Before materially changing our collection or introducing advertising technology, we will update this policy, complete the relevant store disclosures and request consent where required.
7. Retention
We retain account information while your account is active and only as long afterwards as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Cruise travel-referral and self-reported booking-history records are deleted 12 months after their most recent activity. Account deletion removes your Cruise profile and associated journey data, subject to information we must retain by law. Travel partners, Apple, Google and payment providers may independently retain their own booking or transaction records.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and complain to your data-protection authority. You can edit key information, export account data and delete your account from Privacy & Security in Cruise. See our account deletion page if you cannot access the app.
9. Security
We use access controls, authenticated connections and database row-level security designed to protect account information. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
10. Changes and contact
